Quick and simple installation of the Cliarly browser extension

Follow these simple steps to get Cliarly up and running in your browser and start working smarter!

Add Cliarly to your browser - Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to the Add to browser page.

  2. Click the blue “Add to Chrome” or “Get” button, depending on which browser you use. 

  3. Next, click “Add extension”.

  4. Log in with your Google, Microsoft, or Cliarly account.

Cliarly is now installed in your browser!

  1. Find the Cliarly logo to the left of your search bar.

  2. Open the toolbox and enjoy the features of Cliarly Corrected and Cliarly’s Reader.

Get text corrected

Get what you write corrected quickly and easily.

  1. Highlight some text and click the keyboard icon.

  2. The text will now be automatically corrected, and you simply need to click Replace to substitute what you have written with the corrected text.

Get your PDF files read aloud - Step-by-step guide

Listen to your PDF files and get more out of your reading experience!

  1. Select the puzzle piece icon in the right corner.

  2. Give Cliarly access to “file URLs” so the program can access the files you want read aloud.

  3. Select “Manage extension” and double-check that “Allow access to file URLs” is turned on. When you open a PDF file in your browser, you will now see Cliarly-PDF in the right corner. Cliarly can now read your PDF files aloud.

  4. Highlight some text, click the speaker icon and listen to Cliarly’s read-aloud. Want to avoid having references or parentheses read aloud?

  5. Click the Cliarly icon in the right corner and select “Skip parentheses”.
